SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Givenchy

Givenchy mules first debuted last year in New York Fashion Week on the Spring/Summer 2016 runway, where it caused that notorious Candice Swanepoel & other model’s fashion week fall.  Nonetheless, these Italian-made Givenchy mules are exquisitely beautiful, featuring a lizard-effect and smooth metallic leather.  Pair these with a colorful, monochromatic outfit to accentuate the silver heels.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Paul Andrew

Paul Andrew has a knack for creating beautiful, sexy, and also comfortable high heels, which is a rarity among designers.  These wedge heels boast a gold geometric cutout pattern on the heel, which blend elegantly with the black satin fabric that composes the rest of the shoe.

Wear these with gold jewelry and a LBD.  ‘Nuff said.

Get the Look: Suki Waterhouse

We love Suki Waterhouse, we love Coachella street style, and we love the Tommy Hilfiger 90’s inspired outfit Suki Waterhouse wore at the music festival.  See below for the details on how you can create the look for yourself.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Giannico

Giannico came onto my radar this past year after coming across a pair of Andy Warhol banana heels (there’s also a Picasso-inspired pair that’s to-die-for).  With whimsical, fun-loving designs, styles, and lots of bright colors (for my inner 5-year old), I’m completely smitten with the designer, Nicolò Beretta’s designs.

My latest loves are these yellow, blue and white mules that are simply perfect for Spring.

Pair them with a midi skirt for a brunch date, or with a pair of white culottes to accentuate the bright pop of these mules.

Trending Now: 15 Classic Trench Coats That Will Never Go Out Of Style

A classic trench is an essential of every wardrobe.  There’s really no quintessential equivalent to the camel trench coat.  It simply exudes class, sophistication, and elegance, whether worn with a dress, a suit, or simply a pair of jeans.

Fall Classic Camel Coats
At this point, you’re probably thinking, Why, yes, I do need a camel trench coat, and I’m really not certain how I’ve lived my life without one….until now.
(Congratulations on your newfound realization!)
Now that you’ve taken a few seconds to let it soak in, your mind is probably overloaded with questions.  What details do I want on my trench?  Should I choose a belted, a button-up, or both?!  Oversized or fitted?  Do I splurge on a luxurious high-quality version so that it can last through many more winters to come?
While all of these questions are perfectly valid and understandable, know that you can simply sit back (let Trends & Tribulations do the heavy lifting here, darling) and relax while you feast your eyes on these shoppable beauties below.  All you gotta do is scroll.
(You’re welcome.  I love you, too.  Don’t get weird.)

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Miu Miu

Miu Miu’s glitter-emblazoned pumps made headlines after their retro-inspired runway debut for Fall/Winter 2015-16 at Paris Fashion Week.  Their block heel is on-trend for this season, and the baby blue details and cartoon-sized button add the perfect eccentricity to what could very easily become blah.  Pair these heels with a pair of flared, dark denim trousers & a fitted turtleneck, or with a shift dress and a contrasting, candy-colored jacket.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Tom Ford

Tom Ford is, and always will be, the sexiest designer known to the fashion industry to date.  He proves this time and time again, and honestly, the fact that he is able to make a pair of denim boots sultry is only further evidence.  These patchwork denim and leather knee boots from his Fall 2015 runway collection are a perfect blend of bohemian and badass.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Francesco Russo

Animal prints have never really been my thing.  I blame all of the zebra prints I saw growing up that made adults look larger than life (such an unforgiving print, sigh…).  However, in the last few years, snakeskin and crocodile prints have been quickly crept into my life and I can’t pretend I’m not absolutely obsessed.  On that note, leopard print has also quickly become a guilty pleasure of mine.  I love, love, love leopard print & Louboutin red mixed together, along with deep, ruby reds and burgundies.  Of course, you can’t go wrong with leopard print and black, and, as our dear fashion icon Kate Moss has shown us over the years, it always looks badass.

Enter, these Francesco Russo fur detail leopard print sandals, shown above.  With an adorable fur mohawk on the heel, these are a perfect sandal to transition into the fall with.  Match ’em with a pair of baggy athletic harem pants, and maybe this adorable Salvatore Ferragamo Sofia satchel (if you really want to go above and beyond).

How To Pose Like a Fashion Blogger

p18g2387fn1obo1sij12moqosv0a4

It’s amazing how self-aware we become when a camera is pointed at us.  Suddenly, your arms seem like they’re 5 feet long, and what did you ever do with them before?  These awkward hands?  Why didn’t I pay more attention in Top Model when Tyra was explaining how to smize?!

Luckily for you, ModaMob analyzed 7 of the top street style bloggers, and their signature ways they like to strike a pose.  Take some inspiration from them, and soon, you’ll be comfortable enough in front of the camera to find your own unique style.

moda_poses_final

ModaMob explains the details:

The Man Repeller: The key here is not to look like you’re having fun, but to actually be having fun.

The Song of Style: This one’s all about legs. Turn slightly and lock your knees. Easy peasy.

The Fashion Toast: A great one if you’re camera shy – just tilt your head down and play it cool.

The Blonde Salad: Keep your body loose or else this one can look extremely pose-y.

The Style Bubble: Having an awkward moment? Go with it!

Gabi Fresh: This one’s our favorite; it’s not about what angle makes you look slimmer or taller. It’s about working it, plain and simple.

The Anna Dello Russo: You’re a rare bird of fashion, act like it.

Do you have any signature, go-to poses?  Which of these are your favorite?
