Pantone’s Top 10 Colors For Spring 2017

pantonecolorfruit

Pantone has expedited its color forecasting this year and released the top colors for Spring 2017.  The immediacy of this release is in part because of the see now, buy now movement following New York Fashion Week.  Niagara Blue, a denim-inspired hue, is number one, followed closely by a ladylike yellow, known as Primrose Yellow.

Check out the top 10 picks below.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Giannico

Giannico came onto my radar this past year after coming across a pair of Andy Warhol banana heels (there’s also a Picasso-inspired pair that’s to-die-for).  With whimsical, fun-loving designs, styles, and lots of bright colors (for my inner 5-year old), I’m completely smitten with the designer, Nicolò Beretta’s designs.

My latest loves are these yellow, blue and white mules that are simply perfect for Spring.

Pair them with a midi skirt for a brunch date, or with a pair of white culottes to accentuate the bright pop of these mules.

What do you think of these heels?  How would you style them?
