Charlotte Olympia, $1695
For the second time this week, I must rant a bit about one of my favorite designers: Charlotte Olympia. I love how she infuses her quirky style into all of her high-end designs. This Cherie poodle sandal makes me want to run to the Humane Society right now so I can have a little pup to walk in these amazing heels. I have a feeling the caged straps were designed with the theme in mind. To top it off, even the poodle has a golden-crystal embellished collar on the heel!
Miista Tara, $224.95
The “urban decay” look on the base of the shoe is one of the hottest upcoming trends, and what better way to rock it than on your shoes? The heels are the real show-stealers, however, with a multicolored angle lucite heel. At 4 inches, these heels are sure to turn heads.
Dr. Martens Hincky, $129
I’ll admit it If you’ve been following this blog for awhile, you’ve probably noticed that I have something of an unhealthy obsession with 90′s fashion, and it’s just something that I’ll never stop loving. Luckily, the grunge era is making a big comeback in fashion, and Dr. Martens is along for that ride. The second I saw these delightful boots, I almost died inside… Two iconic resemblances of the 1990′s? In one shoe? Simply amazing. Don’t act like they wouldn’t put a huge smile on your face, regardless of if you were wearing them or saw them in the streets.

Ego & Greed, $119
Solestruck described these kicks as “Hipster Mermaid Shoes“, which is strangely very fitting. Although I’m not sure if I’m totally obsessed, this flat platform has been finding its way from creepers to virtually everything these days, and I can’t help but notice. One thing I’m sure of is that the style is definitely growing on me, in its own unique way.
What do you guys think of them?
It’s hard to distinguish what it is about these Balenciaga pumps that makes them so beautiful- is it the pastel pink leather, or the black contrast on the heel, or maybe all of the elements combined. Either way, these are the perfect heels for this spring.
Chloe, $250
At first glance, these boots appear to have a lace detailing covering them, yet when one looks closer, you can see the detailed butterfly and flower art pattern throughout the body of the shoe. I especially love how the design continues on throughout the back of the heel and bottom of the shoe, complemented by a muted turquoise color. The perfect finishing touch: Chloe’s signature charm on the back zipper. Simply amazing!
Dolce & Gabbana, $2745
Dolce & Gabbana had an African-culture themed show for Spring/Summer 2013, and even got into some troubles due to some calling the show racist (everyone loves a controversy). I happen to think their collection was beautifully executed, and incorporated the beautiful details that paid homage to the various cultures around the world. These shoes are the perfect example of this, with the look of hand-painted details, woven straps, and an Asian-inspired fan as the wedge.
Kabamo Ankle Boot by NastyGal, $185
Apparently, I’ve been on something of a Nasty Gal rampage this week, but can you blame me? These shoes are simply perfect, from their clear pointed heel to the Americana-themed colours and the cutout detailing. Called the Kabamo Ankle Boot, I can’t help but be reminded of bad ass comic book heroes rocking these shoes (or at least I’d feel like it in ‘em).
Sergio Rossi, $1,265
One of the latest and greatest fashion trends right now is geometric patterns and prints, and this pair of heels by Sergio Rossi combines the fashion trend beautifully, with a combination of metallics and contrasting black and yellow elements. The vibrant prints would look amazing combined with a pair of dark skinny jeans or a simple black cocktail dress.
Sometimes I think I should just highlight one of Charlotte Olympia’s shoes each week for our shoe porn (sigh). In tradition with the furry shoes we’ve seen this season (Celine, etc.), these rainbow feather pumps seemed appropriate in keeping the trend alive.
