A pair of perfect black boots are basically quintessential to each winter.  Gucci has made an extremely enviable pair this season, complete with their signature navy and red canvas panel and gold pearl embellishments.  Wear them with cropped & flared culottes and a tied neck scarf for a perfectly polished, french-inspired look.

Whenever I think the ’90’s trend has had to have played its role in fashion recently, and is on it’s way out, it seems to show up in yet another item, and, alas, we have another grunge-era comeback.  Luckily for me, I freaking love the 90’s, so I’m always giddy and nostalgic about such occurrences.  The latest comeback happens to be these shiny, patent bubblegum-pink platform leather sneakers from Hogan.  They remind me of the phase I went through as a wee young thing where I only wore Volatile platform sneaks & my friends coveted my rad shoe collection.  Come to think of it, not much has changed except my shoes got a lot higher and more expensive (so basically, just the Courtney Love treatment).  Joking! (but not really)….

Enter, the Sportivo sneakers from Hogan.  Channel your inner Baby Spice and wear ’em with knee-high socks and a mini-dress, or pair ’em with super flared denim jeans for a sporty chic look.

Baby Spice is happy because she has platform sneakers & an egg pod chair. You, too, can be happy. Get your egg chair here, and then buy me one, please.

Moschino’s Fall/Winter 2014-2015 line was Frito-Lay & Cheeto’s couture at its absolute finest.  Jeremy Scott embraced consumer culture with a mutant hybrid of “Coco Chanel meets Ronald McDonald”.  There was a superficiality of it that made us question if the joke was on us.  I wondered if this would be more of a concept runway show, or if the pieces would actually be sold in stores.  As I was recently perusing, I stumbled upon the line, and my answer was confirmed.  Yes, these pieces are being sold.  And for today’s Shoe Porn, I present the McDonald’s Slingback Pumps, courtesy of Moschino (who would ever think those words would go in the same sentence?)
