Rochas never ceases to amaze me with their innovative, yet delicately romantic designs. A while back, Trends & Tribulations did this post on high-end shoe designers who created their own sketches of the Cinderella shoes for the movie that came out in March. As mentioned, those designers designed and created the actual shoes, which were then displayed at an exhibit at the Berlin Film Festival, and at Saks Fifth Avenue’s flagship store in New York City. Five of those designers chose to sell the shoes via special order at Saks, but only Dolce & Gabbana‘s are currently being sold to the public via Luisaviaroma.

Meet the Nova Shoe Chrome Vinyl Wedges by Zaha Hadid for United Nude from Luisaviaroma. This exclusive edition heel is an interesting take on the phantom heel wedge, with a 160mm Carbon fiber wedge heel and a 60mm Carbon fiber internal platform. Although these are certainly heels that will get you noticed, I’m not so sure how much sex appeal they have. These leather calfskin Alexander McQueen booties have a sexy elegance to them, and I picture them looking exquisite paired with a black trench or an A-line skirt. The color is a moss green, which is so fitting with the military-infusion in fashion that is so hot for this fall and winter.
