SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Delpozo

Delpozo’s new creative director Josep Font has been a breath of fresh air for the brand following Jesus del Pozo’s passing in 2011.  He has managed to remain true to the brand’s Spanish roots, with colorful designs and prints, while mixing in feminine and romantic vibes.

These velvet pumps are a perfect example of the playful, yet ladylike aesthetic.  These flirty heels are covered in pink and navy velvet, with a 4″ chunky heel.  Finish off the look with a below-the-knee skirt and high-collar blouse for a polished, yet refined look.

Designer Spotlight: Ines Figaredo

Ines Figaredo, a Madrid-born lawyer-turned-handbag designer, has a wild imagination, and it shows.  She uses it, as well as nature, as the inspiration for her eccentric and unique handbags.  They are handmade in Spain using the finest leather and materials.  Ines was “utterly determined to rescue the ancient know how of haute spanish leatherwork and jewelry, the exquisite art of embroidery and the traditional craft skills of sculpture”, according to their website.

But enough talking- the handbags speak for themselves.  Click through after the jump to see some of my absolute favorites.
