Vetements, pronounced vet-MAHN is the cool-girl, underground brand that debuted with a boom in 2014 ~~(despite Lorde’s twitter feed officially calling the brand “uncool” back in May)~~. With a selection of hoodies, quirky t-shirts, and other miscellaneous items of clothing. Additionally, they make some badass boots. See below.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Monolo Blahnik x Rihanna

Rihanna launched her limited-edition shoe collab with Manolo Blahnik on May 5, and her fans managed to crash the designer’s website (again and again and again). The collection features six different shoe styles, including a pair of $4,350 thigh-high denim boots with an embellished garter belt attached. So, yes, denim assless chaps that are more expensive than most people’s monthly rent payments.

Oh! But they come with a sketch signed by both Rihanna and Blahnik, so they basically pay for themselves (or something like that….right?). Check ’em out for yourself below, and see how an editor at Racked styled them (before she was asked to leave the store) here.

Personally, I happen to detest western-inspired embellishments, denim boots, and, the real clincher, assless chaps, so I will not be snagging a pair of these bad boys anytime soon. Guys, I want to introduce you to one of my new favorite designers: Leo.

Meet Leo, Shoe & Handbag Genius.

He’s been on the scene since 2014, when he launched his shoe and handbag line with an experimental, totally unique, and daring style. He developed his craftsmanship in Milan while collaborating with a master shoemaker, and has stayed true to his roots, creating high quality pieces Made in Italy. Beyond that, he’s basically a ghost on the internet, but you can shop his shoes & handbags at FarFetch & Luisaviaroma.

While all of his shoe designs are colorful and whimsical, my top pick is this pair of Circus Leather Pumps. I love the artsy, mixed media -inspired details. Style with a pair of cropped white skinnies, or with a bright purple ensemble for a chic look that is guaranteed to make heads turn.

The Sexiest Red Heels for Every Price Range

From taxi shoes to masquerade masked heels to the infamous Sophia Webster pencil heels, I have a more than unhealthy obsession of shoes. However, there’s one thing missing. I have no red heels.

After perusing website after website searching for the perfect pair, I found (as I so often do) too many pairs than will fit in either of my two shoe closets at this time (that is, until I figure out how I can transform my guest room into an adequate shoe room)… I found pairs from every price range, and the next best thing to owning the shoes is sharing them with you lovely readers.

Pair them with a pair of cuffed denim jeans and a white button-up, or dress them up with a LBD and fire-engine red lipstick for the ultimate show-stopping look. Enjoy!
