United Bamboo, designers of human clothes, released a Cat Calendar featuring cats wearing United Bamboo designer clothing in 2010 and after, they thought people were pretty sick of cats. To their surprise, in 2011, everyone was asking where the calendar was. So, they decided to make it a regular thing.
In fact, they enjoyed dressing up the cats in designer clothing so much, they made a line just for your favorite furry felines, featuring the clothing in the cat calendars. That means you can purchase a cat-sized piped blazer ($69), cat-sized one-shoulder bow-embellished LBDs ($49), and cat-sized double-breasted peacoats ($89)! The 2013 calendar is not yet out yet, but you can pre-order it here for $40. In case you’re lacking inspiration to style your pet, here are some helpful outfit ideas United Bamboo offers on their website.
And, if the clothes don’t whet your whistle enough (did I really just say that?), thankfully, there’s Cat Tipis. This clever little invention was the brainchild of Los Angeles-based duo Megan Mah and Elan Bentov. When asked how they invented the idea, Megan said, “We built a human-sized teepee in our living room that was always occupied by our cat, Wren-so we decided to make her one of her own.”
Although the Cat Tipi’s and clothing are a little excessive and give a whole new meaning to cat lady, you have to admit they are pretty damn cute. Would you guys ever purchase designer cat clothing for your pet?
So cute! So much character these photos have.
