SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Charlotte Olympia

Charlotte Olympia is inarguably one of the most innovative shoe designers of today.  Diana Vreeland is recognized as “The Empress of Fashion”, and was a fashion icon of her day.  These sandals by Charlotte Olympia are inspired by the late and great Diana Vreeland and her unique and fashion-forward style.  The architectural details and luxurious textures make these sandals truly remarkable.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Marco De Vincenzo

Marco De Vincenzo, ex-Fendi fashion designer, first caught the attention of Italian Vogue editor Franca Sozzani at a show for his namesake label in 2009.  His collections have been delightfully unpredictable from the usual Italian designers, instead opting for classic silhouettes with unexpected materials and construction (W Magazine says it best: think Judy Jetson goes to finishing school).

Check out these truly eye-catching heels below that combine futuristic and ladylike elements in a beautiful way.  Complete the look with cropped, flared culottes and a structured, high-neck blouse.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana are known for having delicate & intricate designs, of which the details become the most important parts.  These embellished sandals, complete with jewel-tone beads, yellow bananas, and forest green pompoms clearly represent their new jungle theme through each of the detailed elements, while the raffia-style heel and clasp adds a natural final touch.  They also have a similar pair in red and black.  Match them with a wicker bag, like this one by D&G here, and with a flowy, white sundress for the perfect summer look.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Gianmarco Lorenzi

Gianmarco Lorenzi is all about glamour, luxury, high fashion, and lavish extravagance, among other glittery things fashionistas dreams are made of.

So, how could I resist showing off this shiny and beautiful leather sandal from the Summer 2015 collection?  I simply cannot think of anything this sandal wouldn’t go with, but am dreaming of rocking ’em paired with a pastel romper or dressed up with culottes and a high neckline.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY

Dolce & Gabbana is known for their beautifully intricate designs, which, every season, never end up failing to amaze me.  These Inlaid Wood Leather Sandals embody their signature glamour of their Sicilian roots.  The decorative wooden heel is inlaid with a gold-toned coin.  Show them off with a gold or black dress to complement their alluring flair.

What do you think of these summer heels?

SHOE PORN THURSDAY

This winter, I bought these Rag & Bone Classic Newbury Boots.  Although the heel is only 3 1/2 inches (shorter than 95% of heels in my closet), I wanted them for an everyday boot where I could do some walking while still looking chic, and adding some height.  I didn’t expect to get so much use out of them, but I really have worn them on an almost daily basis.  So, when I found the summer equivalent, I knew I had to show them with you lovely readers!

Without further ado, I introduce to you these leather open toe ‘Wyatt’ sandals from Rag & Bone:

The blush and black color combination goes with everything, and would look especially great paired with a sundress or a romper.
