Miu Miu is totally killing it in the shoe department lately. First, the glittery retro heels that dreams are made of, and now… Pink, yellow, and grey color blocked cowgirl boots with their logo and KITTENS (they are always kittens, never cats, to me…) emblazoned on ’em. These badass boots scream IDGAF… in the cutest way possible. Wear ’em with a pair of denim jeans and a white button up, or with an all black ensemble for a chic look that lets these boots stand out on their own.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Hogan

Whenever I think the ’90’s trend has had to have played its role in fashion recently, and is on it’s way out, it seems to show up in yet another item, and, alas, we have another grunge-era comeback. Luckily for me, I freaking love the 90’s, so I’m always giddy and nostalgic about such occurrences. The latest comeback happens to be these shiny, patent bubblegum-pink platform leather sneakers from Hogan. They remind me of the phase I went through as a wee young thing where I only wore Volatile platform sneaks & my friends coveted my rad shoe collection. Come to think of it, not much has changed except my shoes got a lot higher and more expensive ~~(so basically, just the Courtney Love treatment)~~. Joking! (but not really)….

When will Fendi’s furry little buggies get old? One thing is certain: They are as adorable as ever, and a fashionista’s quintessential item. Currently, I’m obsessed with these sneakers adorned with a hot pink buggie, aptly named “Karlito“. Check ’em out below. Wear ’em with a colorful, knitted midi skirt and bright cropped tank.

Style Inspiration: Tropical Prints

As I write this post, I am burning up from the sunlight shining on me. Which is pretty amazing, considering I basically require the temperature around me to average 100 degrees fahrenheit, and I teach hot yoga. But, I love it all the same: Summer!

And with summer (and tropical vacations) comes colorful fashion and summer prints. One of my favorite prints this season is green palm trees, especially in tandem with wicker hats and espadrilles, and, of course, pink! Check out my inspiration below for creating your own style with these fun prints.
