Military-inspired threads are the hottest fall and winter trend, from the green and maroon colors to the gold detailing. The military trend was evident throughout the runways for Fall/Winter 2012, with elaborate embellishments, sharp & structured silhouettes and crisp coats and capes.
Fall 2012 Runway
Although surely we would all love to buy the frocks straight off the runway, it’s often not plausible with our budgets. Have no worries, my friends, as I’ve scoured the web to find you some of the hottest military-inspired pieces for under $100.
These army green boots paired with vegan leather accents and lace detailing are perfect for the upcoming snowy months. Pair them with an oversized cardigan or a pair of cuffed boyfriend jeans to amp up the chic factor.
It’s official- Saturday is the first day of Fall. And what better way to celebrate than going to an apple orchard to pick apples, pumpkins, or simply get some hot cider? Since the weather is still warm, a simple dress with flower embroidery is feminine and chic, and I adore this one from Romwe (and it’s only $38!). Hats always work as a statement piece, and this maroon one by Rag & Bone is no exception. The maroon in the unique bracelet on the right creates a color repetition, which pulls the look together. This skirt is from Mango, and is marked down from $179 to $89. I love the pleats, and, of course, the two front pockets. Find it here.
