DSquared2 is one of those super awesome labels that just exude a certain cool attitude, with a unique IDGAF kind of feel. And these skeleton heel ankle boots are totally in on it (and kind of perfect for the Halloween season…). The outsides of the boots have a shoelace-inspired lace-up closure that reminds me of equal parts Frankenstein and football, which isn’t an easy feat to pull off.
Wear them with anything and everything during any months ending in -ber.

Nasty Gal’s recent lookbook, titled Loud & Clear, is aptly named, with a sassy, rock’n’roll vibe reminiscent of the unforgettable Grace Jones. Black & white patterns, stripes and mix and match ensembles are one of 2013’s hottest trends. Take some inspiration from the lookbook and rock the bold trend combining sheer fabrics and tough leathers.
Zoe Karssen‘s funky and unique style is evident in each of the looks in the Spring/Resort 2013 lookbook. Although the t-shirts are simple, their quirky designs would look great tucked into a pair of high-waisted denim shorts or dressed up with a pencil skirt. See the looks below!
Anna Amelie used an interesting editorial concept with her new collection of 20 different colored leather clutches. Model Petra Bartha was styled by David Nyiri solely holding up a clutch to conceal her nude body, while she is surrounded by fashionable men adorned in geeky outfits, with details such as color blocking and pocket squares. Altogether, it is a clever use of design to illustrate and highlight the clutches.
Moga E Mago is a brand that has nothing in common with others except for an immaculate sense of creativity. This A/W ’12 lookbook called .II Salone is a poetic look at fashion through the ages, and an imaginary take on social arrangements and attitudes.
Setting a name for herself, Hermione de Paula has been working vigorously. She recently worked on a heel collaboration with Nicholas Kirkwood, as well as recently released a collection titled “Jade’s Magicopolis” and has worked with the fashion geniuses: the late Alexander McQueen, John Galliano and Christian Dior Couture. Her style is a mix of forals on chiffon and silk combined with feminine layering, and topped off with a laid-back element. This Spring/Summer ’13 collection features the signature mix, yet with an glamourous, urban touch. Check it out below.
