Chinoiserie-inspired prints were everywhere at Simone Rocha‘s Spring 2015 runway show. The red satin brogues have a pointed toe and signature Perspex heel, and are adorned with whimsical matching floral appliqués. Style them with a matching bright and colorful dress, inspired by Rocha’s runway show, or balance out the look by pairing them with a pair of denim skinnies and a crisp white blouse and blazer.
The wide-legged pant has been mentioned here and there in the fashion world. However, this elusive pant style has not been seen very often on the streets or in the runways, until recently. I’ve been on the fence with the trend, wondering if it was the new Harem Pants, a trend we never thought would make it that (unsurprisingly) didn’t. However, recently debuted Resort 2015 collections showcased the style everywhere, from Fendi to Tory Burch.

With new styles and prints, designers showed the wide-legged pant is a new spin on workwear, as well as casual when paired with a crop top. These new designs have made this style much more wearable.

I have a feeling these may not become bigger than The Beatles, but we will be seeing much more of this style than the almost-trendy harem pants. What do you think of ’em? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
L.K. Bennett is a British luxury fashion brand with a modern, classic heritage. To be completely honest, I’m usually not a huge fan of L.K. Bennett heels, as they are classic, but a little too plain for my liking. After all, Bennett’s equal emphasis on comfort and glamour earned her the nickname “Queen of the Kitten Heel”. (One look in my closet and comfortable kitten heels are the farthest from what you’ll find…).
However, I recently came across these darling light pink sling backs from L.K. Bennett. I’m not sure if it’s the sugary pink color, the feminine ruffles, or the combination of all the details, but I think I’m in love.
How cute would these be to try out the heels and sock trend? Pair them with a light pink pair of socks with ruffles at the top for a ultra-femme look.
Adidas is one of those athletic brands that the fashion world seems to always accept into their elite community. And with collaborations with top designers, such as Jeremy Scott and Opening Ceremony, their shoes can be so much more than a simple pair of kicks for the gym. Check out these amazing orange wedge high-tops by Adidas x Jeremy Scott, with an mesh “techno” fabric and wings on the top. Wear them with cropped sweatpants or a t-shirt dress for a casual, but chic look.
