The Best Fendi Buggy Street Style Snaps of 2015

Fendi’s buggies have been a huge hit since making their debut a couple years ago.  Since then, they’ve expanded beyond their initial start as a playful bag accessory and made their way into clothing, shoes, and pretty much everything else in between.

Every woman I know has a love-hate relationship with high heels.  They love the way they look, but hate the way they feel (especially after walking about 100 meters…).  Here are 5 hacks that every woman should know to make walking in high heels a little bit easier.  As you read, feel free to browse Trends & Tribulations top high heel picks that you can finally be excited to wear!

1.

Tape your 3rd & 4th toes together using clear sticky or nude medical tape (count starting with the big toe out).

This trick helps to take pressure off the ball of the foot.  There is a nerve between these toes, and the tape helps to balance the weight by minimizing strain from shifting the weight forward.

2.

Apply fabric plasters on your feet.

Wear your new shoes around the house to find out where they rub uncomfortably around your feet.  Then, apply fabric plasters to those parts of your feet.  Soak your feet in water for a minute or two (with fabric plasters on your feet), then walk around the house in the shoes some more.  The wet plaster will expand and help to soften and stretch the shoe in those places.

3.

Use shoe cushions (or petals).

Shop foot petals here in all shapes and sizes to help provide a cushioning wherever your need it.

4.

Spray your feet with an aerosol deodorant.

Feet can often slip around in your high heels after wearing them for a bit, so spritzing them with aerosol deodorant before wearing can provide traction and ensure your feet stay in place.

5.

Choose a heel that crosses around the front of your foot.

This will provide more support over your foot and around the heel and ankle.  Think of it as a “seatbelt” for your feet (awe!), if you will- it takes pressure off your feet, as they do not have to work so hard to hold the heel in place.  The Jeffrey Campbell ones (above) and Steve Madden pair (below) are chic options.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Fendi

When will Fendi’s furry little buggies get old?  One thing is certain: They are as adorable as ever, and a fashionista’s quintessential item.  Currently, I’m obsessed with these sneakers adorned with a hot pink buggie, aptly named “Karlito“.  Check ’em out below.  Wear ’em with a colorful, knitted midi skirt and bright cropped tank.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Fendi

Fendi has some truly innovative and unique shoes.  These kicks in particular totally remind me of Star Wars (in the best way possible).  The strappy cage detailing is made of metal, which contrasts against the leather upper paneling to create a fantastically industrial looking heel, worthy of the likes of street style starlets, such as Miroslava Duma or Anna Dello Russo, at NYFW.

Pair ’em with a super structured dress, like this one from Proenza Schouler, and a funky visor, like this Missoni one, for the ultimate cool-girl outfit.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY: Fendi

Fendi’s whimsical little furry monsters have become a huge hit over the past couple years.  Initially, I thought the monster memorabilia was a little bizarre, with faces on bags and keychains.  However, I started to think the furry guys are pretty adorable.

Meet the Fendi Leather Monster Bootie Sandal for Fall 2014.  Calling it a statement piece is an understatement, but you have to admit it’s pretty freaking adorable.

SHOE PORN THURSDAY

In every woman’s wardrobe, there are far too many LBDs and LBHs (Little Black Heels), and reasonably so.  If you’re ever in a pinch, they’re the perfect go-to items.  However, with so many options to choose from, I’ve found I have to be fairly picky when it comes to buying more- they have to be my new absolute favorites, or they’re out.  Luckily, I have a pretty open mind, and I’ve found another pair I’m smitten by…

Meet the Fendi perforated leather and suede boots:

Sometimes, you have to see them on for the full effect...

Perforated leather, scalloped suede trim, and honeycomb caged embossed heel…  Amazing.

What’s Trending: The Wide-Legged Pant

The wide-legged pant has been mentioned here and there in the fashion world.  However, this elusive pant style has not been seen very often on the streets or in the runways, until recently.  I’ve been on the fence with the trend, wondering if it was the new Harem Pants, a trend we never thought would make it that (unsurprisingly) didn’t.  However, recently debuted Resort 2015 collections showcased the style everywhere, from Fendi to Tory Burch.

With new styles and prints, designers showed the wide-legged pant is a new spin on workwear, as well as casual when paired with a crop top.  These new designs have made this style much more wearable.

I have a feeling these may not become bigger than The Beatles, but we will be seeing much more of this style than the almost-trendy harem pants.  What do you think of ’em?  Share your thoughts in the comments below!
