Au Jour Le Jour via Buro 24/7
Recently, I stumbled across a sushi-printed jacket, and had to track down the designer immediately. It turns out, the jacket was the product a new fashion label known as Au Jour Le Jour. The Italian label debuted in 2010 as brainchild of designers Mirko Fontana and Diego Marquez.
The designers combine their complementary and diverse skill sets and backgrounds to create elegant, yet quirky and sophisticated, yet totally unique designs.
Their whimsical prints can be found on celebrities and fashion icons alike, as well as through high-end department stores and prestigious online fashion boutiques, such as FarFetch.
Their lines include both mens’ and womens’ wear, and prices range from $200 to over $1,000. My personal favorites include this bus-printed skirt, this pair of sequin-embellished denim shorts, and this apple-print playsuit.
