Rene Caovilla is an understated, yet phenomenal Italian shoe designer.  He worked with Valentino Garavini in the ’70’s, and with Christian Dior and Chanel in the 80’s.  He favored high-end fashion, combining craftsmanship with couture.  He is known for his attention to detail and high quality craftsmanship.

Although it was difficult to choose just one of my favorites of his, this pair called Tutti Frutti is unbelievably stunning.
