Designer Spotlight: Yaz Bukey

Yaz Bukey, ottoman queen and Parisian designer, is my new favorite person.  Of course, I’m not alone in this- Bjork bought out Yaz Bukey’s entire first collection.  Her namesake line, Yazbukey, is filled with unique, tongue-in-cheek pieces that poke fun at celebrities, and have an playful, cartoon-like appeal that makes the inner 6 year old in me squeal with excitement.

Yaz Bukey started out working at Jeremy Scott, Givenchy (alongside Alexander McQueen), and worked at Maison Martin Margiela, but her style is completely her own.  Check out some of the photos from her Spring/Summer ’14 collection, titled “Fabulous Market” below.
