Kate Middleton is our favorite It-Girl (er, It-Duchess, I suppose), as well as the topic of much fashion scrutiny (see outfit recycling, etc.). These images, illustrated by Burcu Urgut, provided courtesy of Bullett Magazine, are what the duchess of Cambridge would look like as a downtown fashionista.
Bitch I’m in the 020: Kate wears an Alexander Wang cropped leather jacket over a Hood by Air t-shirt, a Proenza Schouler mini skirt over 3.1 Philip Lim sheer leggings, and Simone Rocha silver brogues.
The Princess Wears Givenchy: Kate wears a 3.1 Philip Lim plastic collar, Givenchy t-shirt and leather gloves, Acne Studios panelled jeans, and JW Anderson creepers.
Cinderella After Midnight: Kate wears a tiara by Maison Michel for Opening Ceremony, dress by Mary Katrantzou, Jil Sander pumps, and an Alexander McQueen memento mori skull knuckle clutch.
Marc Jacobs, Royal Milliner: Kate wears a Marc Jacobs “Monster” fur hat, Balenciaga sweatshirt, Givenchy red leather pants and boots, PVC micro satchel by 3.1 Philip Lim.
Casual Fridays Crop Top: Kate wears a pinstripe Acne Studios jacket and crop top, Alexander Wang leather skirt and boots, Proenza Schouler bag.
I would personally love to see Miss Kate Middleton exuding a more high-fashion style (although let’s face it- these images are probably the closest we will get). What are your thoughts on these illustrations?
Haha love these illustrations!
And love Kate Middleton’s style, although it’s getting a little boring, since she married William!
I like her better in the first illustration
Very artistic drawings!!! Burcu Urgut is talented!
Yes, lovely illustrations, first one is my favourite too
