Street Style: The Man Bag

A recent trend I’ve noticed is the Man Bag.   Sure, men have carried around briefcases and backpacks for centuries, but the man bag seems to be replacing both.  The reason for this is because bags can carry more than what you can fit in your pockets, a brief case is a bit too formal, and backpacks are rather inconvenient- having to unstrap and stop to get something out is anything but easy.  The Man Bag is especially helpful for New York City, where you learn to expect the unexpected.  Check out these photos of some awesome Man Purses, er, Bags I snapped recently while wandering around West Village in Manhattan.

How cute is this?  This guy told me the bag was borrowed from a friend, then the little darling told me about how he decorated his.
